World Heritage Youth Ambassadors

Our World Heritage Youth Ambassadors project is a group for anyone aged 13-18 yrs who is interested in: finding out about Heritage, their local history or how a tourism destination works • helping with museum and community events • having a say in how their heritage is managed, protected and interpreted • working alongside Museum professionals • making friends with people with similar interests. Ironbridge is a fascinating place and it's amazing to learn about its industrial past and the impact it has had worldwide. This project will help you develop your communication skills and gain confidence, volunteering experience and maybe a lifelong interest and appreciation for the place you live! As part of this project you will also work towards an Arts Award at either Bronze, Silver or Gold level.

Talk: The Work of Cuan Wildlife Rescue

At “Cuan Wildlife Rescue”, they take in any sick, injured or orphaned British wild animal or bird with the whole aim of rehabilitating them back to the wild upon recovery. On arrival at the Centre, each casualty is assessed and given immediate First Aid treatment in the form of pain relief, fluid therapy, warmth, wound management as appropriate. All treatment and nursing is carried out at the Centre, and much thought and preparation is put into their ultimate release back to the wild.

Guest comments for Castle Farm Holidays in Shropshire

We have all loved our stay here. A wonderful location with lots to do. Would recommend Llangollen (steam railway, horse drawn canal boats and aquaduct). Woodpecker Cottage was all we hoped for, and more! We hope to come back in the future as there is so more to see and do. Thanks for everything.
